Blizzardshard
Blizzardshard stood at Treestar's side at the rim of Fourtrees. He too was looking into the Gathering place, but he wasn't as surprised as Treestar that ShadowClan was first. 'I'd be more surprised if Shiningheart doesn't start pestering the elders tonight.' He thought, grinning slightly. He glanced back at said she-cat, to see her bouncing on her paws in excitement. He chuckled and turned back forward, just in time to hear Treestar's advice/command. He gave a jaunty salute with his tail, a bad habit he'd picked up from Shiningheart, before diving in after Treestar.
He stopped at the bottom, straightening up when Treestar leaned over. He nodded to show he understood. Frostpaw could be... kind of vicious when she got riled up. And, sadly, that seemed to happen a lot between ThunderClan and ShadowClan. He saw a white figure zoom past him toward an ash-gray tom. He sighed, already knowing that she had no idea who he was. "Don't cause trouble, Shiningheart!" He meowed to her. Blizzardshard chuckled when he saw her tail wave in his direction before he stood, padding toward the spot where the deputies usually sat together during the full moon.
Shiningheart Shiningheart let out a small 'oomph' as soon as her paws hit the ground and dirt of Fourtrees. She took a moment to survey the area, listening to the leaves of the four massive oaks rustle before she took off in a random direction. She heard Blizzardshard's warning behind her, and waved him off with her tail. She skidded to a halt next to a ShadowClan tom with light gray fur, nearly crashing into him. She felt a paw on her shoulder, steadying her. "Hiya! I'm Shiningheart, from ThunderClan!" She meowed enthusiastically, beaming brightly when he turned slightly toward her.
Cinderblaze Cinderblaze was forced to tear his gaze away from his apprentice when a cat nearly crashed into him. Being used to it from Ashfeather, he calmly reached a paw forward to keep her from falling over. "Whoa there, easy!" He meowed, chuckling. He nodded his head in greeting at Shiningheart's words. "Hello Shiningheart. My name is Cinderblaze. And, seeing as how our two Clans are the only ones here at the moment, I highly doubt it's necessary to say I'm from ShadowClan."
Emberpool stayed where he was, looking around at the cats uncertainly. He hated these things, he was always afraid he'd somehow screw up or offend a Clan and make ThunderClan seem bad! He really didn't want to do that! Maybe he could just slink away and stay hidden the entire Gathering... But would that make ThunderClan seem like a bunch of cowards? He couldn't let that happen! But oh, what should he do!

Lostpaw Gentle, uneven paw-steps hit the leafy ground of Fourtrees as the Medicine Cat apprentice of ThunderClan limped steadily around the clearing. She had fallen behind slightly on the journey, and was feeling a bit embarrassed that she had held her clan up. However, it seemed that only one other clan was here so far, so she could breath a sigh of relief. The scent of so many cats mingled together confused her senses for a moment, but she soon was able to pick out which were ShadowClan and which were ThunderClan.
The young cat briefly wondered where all the other clans were before she followed her mentor over to where Nettlepaw sat. She murmured a quick hello, but was too distracted by all the other cats to really notice what he was saying.
It was so amazing how friendly the two clans could be with each other when any other time they would be killing everyone they could get their claws on. The corners of her mouth twitched into an amused smile, and she turned her focus back to her mentor and the other apprentice.
At times she was glad that she had her mentor to talk at gatherings, because her mind just didn't seem to be present at those times. She wondered lazily if there was really anything significant enough in ThunderClan to tell the other cat about; there hadn't been any incidents for a while. Or was there some secret one that Poppyfire wasn't telling her about....
"Ow!" Lostpaw exclaimed as something hard hit the top of her head. She looked down and saw an acorn lying at her feet, one that had obviously bounced off of her noggin heartbeats before. She looked up to see a black squirrel disappear into the leaves of one of the oaks. "Damn squirrels." she growled, staring into the tree with a look on her face that would probably kill the squirrel if it dared look at her again.

- - Rushingstar
The silhouette of a slim and tall feline made it's way to the top of the ravine. Upon closer inspection, a cream and white tabby mixed she-cat could be seen looking down on the mingling cats below.
Rushingstar's dark blue eyes blinked slowly as she felt the wind ruffle her soft fur. As the moon showed down, any cat could mistaken her as a WindClan warrior. What with her long back legs that showed her half-clan heritage, it was a wonder why her own clan didn't think a WindClan rival was raiding their camp each morning when they saw the dark form that is their leader step out into the cool night.
The new leader breathed in the scents of the air, the mingled smells of Thunder and Shadow reached her nostrils. Her eyes squinted slightly to see the different colored pelts of the clan cats. She was slightly upset that RiverClan weren't the first here, but at least they weren't the last.
The she-cat stretched in a lazy manner, one not of a proper leader, but she was just like that. Her tail curled up as she sat up and looked back at her clan, their eyes glowing dimly as they flickered about, waiting for her signal. She had choosen carefully Fadingstorm, Brindlesky, Ashstorm, Ripplestream, Bloodclaw, Seapaw, Cloverpaw and Spiderpaw.
Rushingstar was indeed a new leader, so this would be her first gathering as the highest ranking representative of RiverClan. It made her pelt tingle with excitement, but also, with some anxiously. Of course she was abit nervous about getting up to address all four clans....(that is if windclan got here) Wouldn't any new leader be?
The young she-cat's gaze rested on her deputy, the ever so loyal, Fadingstorm. She smiled slightly at him, to show that she wasn't nervous, a cover up really. "You ready?" She whispered to him, tail waiting to give the signal when her deputy gave an answer.

- - Oakstripe
Oakstripe's gaze turned to look at the she-cat beside him, now lying down. His ears twitched at her comment. I hope Blackrose doesn't mean..- Oakstripe began to wonder, eyes not showing his discomfort, but just mild curiously. "Yeah, I suppose..." He meowed flatly, head turning to stare at the two leaders sitting above where the other cats sat or padded about. His whiskers twitched as he scented the breeze, it was waffling downward from near the west/north. His gaze hovered upward as he saw the pairs of glowing eyes glittering against the moonlight. His tail flickered as he recognized RiverClan scent. "Three down, one to go." He murmured, loud enough for his partner beside him to hear.
Upon his remark, suddenly he felt a light thud from afar, his broad head turned toward the sound, and his eyes lowered to see a small black and white feline sitting by one of the large oaks. His ears flicked as he wondered if he was seeing double. The ThunderClan cat looked exactly like Blackrose!
Eyes glowing in wonderment, Oakstripe peered closer and finally realized it was a medicine cat, an apprentice it looked like. He couldn't tell what the she-cats face looked like, for she had her back turned. He watched as something small and round fell from above and hit the poor cat over the head. His head tilted to the side as he saw a small acorn roll toward his paws. Blinking curiously, Oakstripe pawed it away with a quick swipe of his big paw and drew his tail nearer his side. He watched the medicine cat apprentice with soft eyes, wondering if she had any other cats to mingle with. surely Neetlepaw is around here somewhere... Oakstripe pondered. The russet tom watched silently as the ThunderClan apprentice stared up the tree, hearing the soft growling of frustration come from her. I have those days... Oakstripe thought with a soft smile to himself, turning his head to now look at passing by cats.
\--\-----------------------------------------------------/--/
- - Frostpaw
Frostpaw found her way through the throng of cats, her white fur sticking out like snow in the dark surroundings. She hopped over a senior warriors tail and scrambled toward a group of younger cats. She scented the air and could make out ShadowClan. Her tail fluffed out in delight as she realized that these cats were warriors.
Not wasting any time, Frostpaw bounced over to the nearest one, a cinder colored tabby. "Hi! I'm Frostpaw! I'm in ThunderClan." She meowed energetically, smiling broadly. "You smell of ShadowClan, what's your name?" She asked curiously, circling around so she was in front of the ShadowClan feline. Upon seeing another cat already by, Frostpaw glanced at the warrior she knew, Shiningheart. She flicked her tail over at the she-cat, as she looked back at the grey tom, not catching his name a moment ago.

____________________________The Fading sun revealed the breaking Storm .! Deputy of Riverclan .!____________________________Riverclan would be great. Riverclan would be proud. Riverclan would be strong. So many things whirled through the smokey tom's mind as the Riverclan patrol came to a halt. Excitement pulsed through his veins, as well as sorrow rolled into one. He was eager to see Rushingstar atop the great rock, the new representative of Riverclan.
Fadingstorm didn't fret about the reaction of the other clans, Rushingstar had made a great deputy, and would carry on to make an even better leader. This would be Fadingstorm's first gathering as deputy, too, but he wasn't much fretting about it. He was still a warrior, just an organized warrior, so to say.
Blue-green eyes flickered out into the dim lit clearing. Shadowclan had already arrived, as had Thunderclan. Fadingstorm straightened up instinctively, ready to prove his leader, and clan proud. Cats slithered faceless in the heart of the hollow. But at the soft voice of his noble leader, the deputy averted his attention. Rushingstar had chosen fine warriors to show off her clan, Fadingstorm wouldn't have chose different himself.
"Ready when you are." The smokey tom replied softly, with a confident nod, half to himself. He drew in a long breath of crisp air, this was their night. Riverclan would be great.

Darkened ears flickered back and forth as the silent tom stood beside his best friend's left flank. Maroon eyes gleamed with a wickedness that always appeared the first moments of their transition from yellow to burgundy. The moon-kissed, silver tom's pelt rippling like a living creature, the black specks seeming to wink under each movement he made. He was hunched over slightly because of his tall height, which had his head grazing the branches of the nearby bush in which he was half hidden. Bloodclaw's thoughts strayed to his twin sister, Autumnstep, back in the medicine cat den. She had surprised everyone that morning when she had stepped up to Rushingstar and politely requested she take the place of RiverClan's medicine cat for the time being. Autumnstep knew enough about herbs to qualify, though she certainly did not know as much a full fledged medicine cat. She'd stayed behind that night, since it was such short schedule that she had announced it. No one had complained though, Autumnstep's personality fit that of a medicine cat's. Stubborn, but kind and gentle with a sharp tongue when needed. Smart and courageous, she was also a good warrior and that was why she only requested temporary medicine cat. Bloodclaw did miss having her by his side; they were nearly inseperable, but Bloodclaw had Fadingstorm and Ashstorm for this gathering. He wouldn't feel so awkward with them there. It was always the same to every gathering. An apprentice or warrior that had not seen Bloodclaw before, only heard of him, would gawk at their very first sight of the tallest and fastest cat in the forest. Bloodclaw shook his head, the bare skin of his bat-wing-shaped scar glittering as the dappled moonlight filtered through the leaves to catch the pale skin beneath it, the marks of the dog's teeth a darker shade of pink against his light, rosy skin.

Ashstorm A gray tabby tom stood crouched beside Bloodclaw, his friend's height making him seem almost tiny. Many might feel intimidated by this; but Ashstorm was used to it, and he wasn't really the kind to be scared by someone's appearance.
The slim warrior took a deep breath of the cool night air and let it out again, his white whiskers quivering, as if with anticipation for the gathering. Ashstorm hadn't been to a gathering in a while; this was only his second one since he became a warrior. He had been to busy looking proud then to really socialize with all the other clans; which he really enjoyed doing. Still, he was glad to have one of his best friends with him.
It felt odd being at a Gathering without Bloodclaw's sister. To tell the truth, Ashstorm was a little disappointed when she announced she would take over Medicine Cat duties. He had had a bit of a crush on her for quite a little while now, and had been trying to get to know her a bit more, but whenever she came near he got all nervous and shy. Ashstorm had NEVER been classified as shy before! He wondered for a heartbeat whether Bloodclaw had noticed, but got pulled out of his thoughts as he heard Fadingstorm's voice softly.
"Hopefully we aren't late; it's painfully embarrassing to be the last clan to arrive." Ashstorm whispered to Bloodclaw, peering out of the bushes to see if he could see the other three clans.

- - Rushingstar
Ears twitching, Rushingstar nodded back to her deputy. "I'm ready." She replied with a flick her her long tail. She glanced once more back at her clan, seeing their eager and glowing eyes gave her more confidense that RiverClan would be shown off greatly tonight.
With that positive thought, Rushingstar gave the signal. A flick of her creamy tail and she started off down the rolling hill. She felt her paws tingle with adrenilen as she thought over what she would say to the other clans. She was thankful that RiverClan weren't the last ones their, it seemed WindClan still hadn't gotten there...
Her eyes reflexted off the moon softly, showing her casualness and preparation. She had to act proper for the first gathering as leader...as for the next, she could loosen up abit then. She followed her paws to the ever-so noticible area where the leaders stood. She used to stand just about where she was now, just below where the past leader stood.
She gave a slight inhale of breath and lept up, being greeted by the pelts of ShadowClan and ThunderClan leaders. "Treestar, Onestar." She meowed to them both, her crisp voice rang out like a bell. "How are both of you and your clans?"She settled down on the space on the rock, tail drawing over her paws in a swift motion. Her rounded ears pointed in the two felines' directions as she waited calmly for an answer. Her delicate whiskers twitched as she stared into the eyes of Onestar first. It was a slight shock to Rushingstar that she felt no shyness, only the curiousity and calmness of being a clan leader.

Brindlesky was kneading the ground excitedly as her pale green eyes scanned the clearing below her. She was crouched behind Fadingstom and waiting for Rushingstar to give the signal for the Clan to head down to join the other two Clans. From what she could see and smell, it was just ShadowClan and ThunderClan that had beat them to the clearing. Part of her had been hoping that RiverClan would be the first to arrive, but it seemed that it wasn't happening this time.
She guessed that right about now, her little sister Ivypaw was pacing the camp, angry that she wasn't chosen to attend the gathering. The warrior could imagine the earful she would receive from the apprentice if she was still awake when the patrol returned to camp. An amused smile crossed her face as she imagined how much Ivypaw would pester every cat to know how the gathering went.
When Rushingstar gave the signal for the RiverClan cats to go down to join the other Clans, the tabby warrior sprang forward and loped down the slope after her leader.
Onestar glanced over at the RiverClan leader when she lead her Clan into the clearing and jumped up on the rock with the other two leaders. He watched her for a moment before closing his amber eyes and nodding a slight greeting. "Hello Rushingstar," he mewed politely.
This was Rushingstar's first gathering as a leader and it brought back some memories of the first time Onestar had addressed the Clans as leader of ShadowClan. He smiled slightly and turned away from his fellow leaders and looked towards the WindClan border with an impatient sigh. "As soon as WindClan gets here we can get this gathering started," he muttered.

>>Ambergaze<< A crisp night breeze swirled around the WindClan deputy, penetrating her thick pelt and making her shiver. She wasn't just shivering from the cold, however. Nervousness seeped through her body, making her twitch uncomfortably and keeping her muscles tense as she crouched with her clan in the bushes. At this gathering, she would be leading WindClan. She was just glad that her brother was there with her.
How would the other clans react? Would they see WindClan as weak and pathetic, without a leader? She desperately hoped not, hoped that they would think nothing of it.
Ambergaze was still extremely nervous, but she knew she couldn't cower in the bushes forever. With a half-hearted yowl, she bounded out of the bushes, racing down the hill with the speed of a true WindClanner. She slowed to a trot as she approached the leaders, and dipped her head as a greeting. "'Evening, Treestar, Onestar, Rushingstar. Our leader is unable to attend tonight, so I will be representing out clan." Ambergaze said politely, surprising herself at how steady her voice came out. She swallowed silently and sat down, wrapping her very fluffy tail around her tortoiseshell paws.

Blizzardshard
Blizzardshard raised his head and resisted the urge to curl his lips. That fishy scent that always clung to the cats of RiverClan always made him want to gag. Oh well, at least that meant that they were here now. He looked at the sleek pelts of RiverClan and looked for any new cats, wanting to keep tabs on how strong and how weak each Clan was. He spotted the gray tabby pelt of the warrior Ripplestream, and he felt disdain stab at his chest. He'd always found the RiverClan warrior far too hot-headed, especially when they met up on border patrol.
He continued surveying RiverClan until the much more pleasant scent of moorland and rabbits entered the clearing. He already knew without looking that WindClan finally got their skinny hides here! He looked to watch their proccession, and was pleasantly surprised to see Ambergaze in the lead. Curiosity ate at him, but Blizzardshard held back. If she wanted the Clans to know why she was leading instead of Silentstar, then she would tell them when she spoke for WindClanShiningheart Shiningheart tilted her head in thought when Cinderblaze spoke, and found it to be true. She laughed, her tail waving through the air. "Oops!" She meowed, though the large grin on her face said she wasn't repentant in the least. Then both RiverClan and WindClan scent swamped the air. "But we're not the only Clans here now, so there, meanie!" Shiningheart stuck her tongue out, laughing to show she meant nothing by it.
When Frostpaw joined them, she thought nothing of it. "Hiya Frostpaw!" She chirped happily. It was quite clear that she was in her element, surrounded by so many cats. "This is Cinderblaze! And yup, he's ShadowClan!" A devious smirk flitted for a second across her muzzle, but it was gone in a heart-beat. "Good job, Frostpaw! Your mentor must be teaching you well!"
Cinderblaze Cinderblaze rolled his eyes at how childish Shiningheart sounded, but nodded a greeting to the young apprentice all the same. He went back to looking for Windpaw, and had to squash a small bit of panic when he found her by Dawnwing. It was common knowledge among ShadowClan that that particular warrior was a bit... unstable in the mind. Why was Windpaw bothering her now?!? He rose to his paws, regal and proud. "Now, if you'll excuse me, ladies, I must go see to my own Clanmates."
Before either she-cat could protest, he padded away, toward Dawnwing and Windpaw. "Why don't you go ask instead of pestering the warriors, Windpaw?" He meowed calmly. "That's what Gatherings are for, to make friends and learn weaknesses, not to stay by your Clanmate's side."
Emberpool decided to just hide. No reason for the Clans to know ThunderClan was harboring a weakling like him, right? His eyes darted side to side, looking for escape, and he found it in a break of cats. He looked around once more before casually making his way over, attempting to slip away into the darkness. But as soon as he broke through from the crowds, he ran into the small body of a RiverClan apprentice.Seapaw Seapaw was just about to mingle with the other apprentices when she collided with the firm chest of a ThunderClan tom. 'Great. Not even five seconds here, and I already make an idiot of myself.' She thought. Taking a moment to step back, she looked at the tom. She guessed he was a warrior, much older than herself. She could see the muscles rolling through his pelt, and shuddered at thinking of facing him in a battle. But the uncertainty and fear in his eyes made her maternal side come out in a second. "Oh, I'm so sorry!" She meowed, looking at either side of him. "Are you alright? Did I hurt you?"
Ha, the thought of a mere apprentice hurting this tom was laughable. He stuttered out a denial of being hurt, and Seapaw breathed a little easier. "Oh, thank StarClan above! Only my second Gathering, and I'm not making much of an impression!" She beamed at him, drawing out a weak smile. "Oh come on, you can do better than that!" She scolded, laughing softly. "Come on, really smile!" The tom chuckled weakly, and his smile grew. "Yeah, there you go!"Ripplestream Ripplestream scowled, glaring at any cat that came near him. He should have just requested that he stay home. The steel-gray warrior had been up since dawn that morning, being unable to sleep and deciding to hunt. Now, both his body and mind were exhausted, and he wasn't able to sleep! Maybe he could steal a nap outside of Fourtrees, ask a Clanmate to wake him up when announcements start. But what if a fight broke out before the leaders spoke? He'd miss all the action! 'Decisions, decisions...' he thought blearily, trying to keep his eyes open.
