The fluffy black warrior watched as Ambergaze approached this loner. He heard a faint rumble in the distance and nearly jumped out of his skin in an attempt to hurry off the thunderpath. He came to stand beside his sister and the strange loner, watching her carefully as Ambergaze asked this cat about her name.
Icepool...loners didn't have names like Icepool. "That's a Clan name," he stated, staring at her in shock. He took a small step forward and tilted his head slightly. "Do you come from a Clan?" he asked.
Well for the moment, the good news was that his sister and deputy had agreed to take Icepool, as she called herself, back to camp and get her help. Ambergaze had mentioned that she felt bad waking up the medicine cats. He shook his head slightly. "And, Ambergaze, since we have a cat that really needs help, I'm sure they won't mind waking up so late," he offered, flashing a crooked smile at his sister.

Frosteyes herself jumped when Ebonyfur did at the noise, though she jumped merely because his sudden movement and scrambling towards her startled her. She back up a few pawsteps in alarm, though she was quickly losing what little strength her tiny body had found a few moments ago, and she nearly collapsed when she stumbled slightly. After Ebonyfur's question, her eye darted around for a moment as if she were waiting for someone to jump out at her. But who? She'd woken up next to a dead cat. Maybe that cat's family? Doubtful, they would have easily caught up with her by now. She remembered she hadn't answered Ebonyfur's question before she nodded slowly, instantly regretting it when her vision swam. She stood perfectly still for a moment, her labored breathing loud and harsh, before she looked at him again. "That's one of the few things I can answer without a doubt," her voice was a tad stronger, though it quickly faded as her eye clouded over again and she muttered, "I just don't remember which one...I don't remember anything before two days ago."

Ebonyfur tilted his head curiously when she answered his question. She was a Clan cat, but not one that he recognized. He was sure ShadowClan mentioned a missing warrior a few moons ago, but that seemed to happen at least once a season. Of course, that was just him being pessimistic so he dismissed the thoughts. They could wait until she regained her memory. And if she didn't then hey, WindClan just got themselves a new warrior.
He carefully moved himself beside her, offering shoulder for her to lean on if she was feeling weak. He was slim like all cats of his Clan, but he was still strong enough to support her long enough to get her to the medicine den.
He looked up at his sister and his eyes narrowed thoughtfully. "I'm not sure if she's strong enough to make it back to camp by herself. We might have to help her a bit," he remarked. He looked back towards Frosteyes and dipped his head away from the Thunderpath.
"Perhaps we should move away from the Thunderpath in case a monster comes by," he suggested. The monster he'd heard earlier must've turned off on a smaller path for when he listened for it again, it seemed to be headed in a different direction and not towards them anymore. But nonetheless, it was best to get away from the dangerous surface.

Her sharp, small ears turned, trying to pinpoint any sounds of a monster. The world was spinning again as she managed to pipe in a small voice. "We should be pretty safe...monsters don't normall travel this length of the ThunderPath this late." She didn't know why she could trust her hearing above all else. But something inside told her her hearing was better than most believed. Regardless, she was already staggering off the acrid stentch of the black, sticky pavement. Feeling a spark of energy the moment her tired, raw paws touched soft, lush grass, she stood a little straighter, refusing to lean against the other tom's shoulder. Her deep buried pride wouldn't allow her, she was already biting down deep the pride that stirred beneath the purpose at the time by letting them act like she was helpless. If only she knew how helpless she'd be in the morning.

Another flash of surprise flicked across Ebonyfur's eyes. She knew enough about the Thunderpath to know the habits of the monsters that traveled it. Granted, she was right, but it was still strange. That narrowed down what Clan she could come from. He didn't think RiverClan would know that much about the Thunderpath since Fourtrees separated them from it, so that left ShadowClan or ThunderClan. His mind drifted back to the missing warrior Onestar had announced so long ago, but he brushed the thought away.
He moved along beside her as she stumbled off the path and he thought he could see a bit of energy return to her as her paws touched the grass. It was understandle to the black warrior. Grass was always more soothing to walk on than rocks or other hard surfaces, especially the wreaking Thunderpath. But she was refusing to lean on him. He guessed she didn't want to look weak in front of strangers. Great, she's a proud one, he thought with a soft sigh.
"Well...camp's this way. We'll get there and have the medicine cats take care of you," he mewed. He felt like he'd made the promise of getting her attention from a medicine cat every other sentence, but it was important to him. She looked dazed and hungry at the very least. StarClan knows what other problems she might be facing that Ebonyfur had failed to notice.
