\--\-----------------------------------------------------/--/ Oakstripe's tail twitched irritably when Blackrose told him not to be sorry and that it wasn't his fault. Of course it was his fault! He crossed the border, a big no no, for any clan-cat. His eyes wandered back to hers after she had finished talking.
He shouldn't be so mad though. Sure he had broken a rule, but it happens, to mostly every cat he suspected.
Oakstripe relaxed and his eyes began to turn less sharp. "You could have caught that rabbit." He meowed, tone chagning from irriation to sincerity. "You could be the fastest runner in ShadowClan, I mean...with your long legs and all." He countinued, smiling slightly, all traces of anger or irritation gone. "You can leap, who says you can't run?" He meowed lightly, casual tone. His eyes showed playfulness as he stared at Blackrose, as if he had never gotten in one of his attitudes at all a few seconds ago. \--\-----------------------------------------------------/--/ the ooc// progress; done muse; going good post directed to; Blackrose mood of character(Oakstripe); casual notes: that post SUCKED. >.> oh and your putting Oaktail, it's Oakstripe.

>> Blackrose was just about to lose her self control and start snapping at Oakstripe when he had a seemingly sudden mood swing. It took the warrior a moment to adjust to the sudden change. She felt her fur grow warm at the praise and she shuffled her paws. "No," she muttered sheepishly. "I'm not fast enough to get rabbits," she mumbled
>> It wasn't that she couldn't run, it's just that she was not as fleet as a rabbit. There was no way she could keep up unless the rabbit she was after was lame. She sighed and stared at the rabbit rather then looking up at Oakstripe. "It was a nice catch, though," she mewed. A teasing smile crossed her muzzle. "Even if you did cross the border."
[/b] >> She flicked her tail at him to show she was only pulling his tail. "I'm just kidding," she stated just in case it hadn't been clear. "So are you ready to head back to camp or did you wanna try and find some more prey?" she asked, tilting her head as a sort of physical question mark. \--\-----------------------------------------------------/--/ Oakstripe couldn't help the grin show as Blackrose teased him. He couldn't get irritated at her, she hadn't done anything wrong. He liked her spunk and humer, she reminded him of...well, him, and his sister. His tail twitched as he chuckled lightly, "Thanks, and I know." He meowed smoothly, looking ahead, wondering if he was ready to go back or not.
"How about we head back." He answered, hoping she would agree. He wasn't much of a hunter, and he was wondering how Foxtail was. His eyes gleamed as he looked back at her, laughing at the way her face looked tilted that way.
A soft purr rose in his throat as he stared at her softly, green eyes wondering. \--\-----------------------------------------------------/--/ the ooc// progress; done muse; wee post directed to; Blackrose mood of character(Oakstripe); happy notes: no probs. =3 I keep putting shading instead of fading for fadingstorm's character replys. She was feeling rather relieved when he suggested they head back. She was actually beginning to feel a bit tired after running after Oakstripe and the rabbit. "That sounds fair. We'll just have to go back and get the raven and mouse," she gave a pleased purr as she listed off their catches. It was all warmblooded prey. She could guess that at least one of the pieces of prey would go to Foxtail when they got back. She respected Oakstripe's dedication to his sister.
After she took a moment to think, she started back towards where she'd left her raven. She glanced over her shoulder to make sure the younger warrior was following. She finally reached her catch and unearthed the raven. She waited for a moment longer for him to catch up before trotting back towards camp.
Part of her couldn't wait to return to camp. After being out in the swamp for so long, she was rather looking forward to resting and cleaning the mud from her thick pelt. She was beginning to feel kind of dirty and that was usually a sign that it was time for the tomboyish she-cat to return home.
